Customer Background

A large medical complex project in Kosovo was put into construction and required the purchase of high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel plates for building interior walls and decoration projects. The customer had strict requirements on material strength, surface finish and weather resistance, and also required it to meet European standards. He found Wanzhi Steel in the browser, and after several video visits to our factory, he reached a cooperation agreement.

• Product specifications: 18 gauge 304 stainless steel plate, surface treatment is 8k mirror, size is 3000mm×1254mm.
• Quantity: 500 pieces for the first order, and then increase to 233 tons.

Production process

• Raw material preparation: Select high-quality 304 stainless steel raw materials from domestic first-tier steel mills to ensure that the chemical composition meets the standards (Cr≥18%, Ni≥8%).
• Unwinding and straightening: Use imported straightening machines to avoid surface scratches, and each sheet is covered with a protective film.
• Cutting to size: Laser cutting accuracy ±0.5mm, no burrs on the edges.
• Surface treatment: 8k mirror treatment, and corrosion resistance is improved through pickling and passivation processes.
• Labeling and packaging: Each sheet is marked with batch number, specification and production date for easy traceability.

Quality Check

• Appearance inspection: Check the surface under standard light wave environment to ensure that there are no ripples, sand holes and oxidation marks.
• Thickness measurement: Use ultrasonic thickness gauge to ensure that the thickness deviation is ≤±0.05mm.
• Mechanical properties test: Tensile testing machine detects yield strength ≥205MPa, tensile strength ≥520MPa.
• Corrosion resistance test: Salt spray test chamber simulates harsh environment, no red rust for 48 hours.

Packaging and transportation

• Packaging material: Anti-rust film + wooden pallet combination, ≤10 sheets per pallet to avoid deformation during transportation.
• Fixing method: Use steel belts for reinforcement to prevent the board from sliding.
• Transportation method: Directly reach Kosovo via the China-Europe Express, with temperature-controlled containers throughout the journey to avoid humid environments.
• Customs clearance documents: Provide certificates of origin and material test reports to ensure fast customs clearance.
